The dog friendly Breedon Hall in the village of Breedon on the Hill is a mere 10 miles away from the M1/M42 hub, with Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Birmingham and Coventry and East Midlands Airport nearby, making it extremely accessible, yet truly “tucked away”.
Breedon Hall, owned and run by Charles and Charlotte Meynell is an award-winning “Special Place to Stay”, offering a high quality country house style bed & breakfast experience, with five ensuite bedrooms all of which are dog friendly. Dogs are also welcome in the 3 two-bedroomed Mews Cottages.
Up to 2 dogs are welcome (although they may consider more – you would just have to ask) at a supplementary cost of £5 per dog per night.
At Breedon Hall, they do prefer owners to bring their pet’s own bedding etc. that they are familiar with but they can provide items if asked in advance.
You and your canine companion will get a great welcome from the family including the resident dog, Bullet. Doggy guests are required to be vaccinated, house trained and non-aggressive – especially with regard to Bullet who gets enough punishment from Mr Bingo the resident cat.
Dogs are welcome in all areas used by guests and there are also 2 local dog friendly pubs nearby.
As well as the lovely garden, Breedon Hall is set in beautiful countryside so you and your four-legged friend will have plenty to explore.
Take a walk to the top of Breedon Hill just behind the house or follow The Cloud Trail along towpaths and vehicle free tracks all the way to Derby.
Breedon Hall is gloriously homely place for you and your canine companion to stay and enjoy a most relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
