Hi my dog pals,
Busy, busy sea-side town is Aldeburgh. Took ForEvA to get parked!! Busy, busy street too!!! Really difficult for a little dog like me to navigate! Anyways we saw the dog friendly White Hart – it was REALLY tiny on the street beside the chip shop.
But there were SO many people queuing for fish and chips and NO seating left in or out even though Hum said the Pizza looked good, so we walked on and checked out our next dog friendly venue – the Cross Keys.
The Cross Keys is indeed a very nice, cosy pub overlooking the beach/promenade BUT again a BIG queue at the bar and Hum couldn’t decide what she fancied from the menu.
Off again we went! I was almost getting fed up of this expedition BUT we found The Mill Inn – definitely the best choice of all!!! NO QUEUE (and there should have been ‘cos this is a LOVERLY place)!
Best welcome of all the pubs so far! I was brought water straight away which is always a good sign. Light and airy but with lots of little spaces to sit and eat/drink and FANTASTIC food!!! At what Hum said was a great price! What’s not to love she said! We had Brie in Breadcrumbs and it was deliche! Well done Hum!!!
Had to stay on promenade on way back to car as there are restrictions on the beach and the only downside of the day was that a nasty sea gull big bird thingy tried to attack me (woh that was scary – it squawked and circled and stuff!) but overall worth taking your humans here if only for The Mill Inn.
