Sage’s stay at Arundel House, Whitby

Hello Doggy Friends,

My name is Sage, and I visited Whitby with my Hum. We stayed at Arundel House – a B&B which we found on Zuki’s lovely website here – there are some REALLY good places to stay if you get your Humans to check out the ‘Listings’ page!

Anyway we went to Arundel House and I loved the room we stayed in as the window went all the way to the floor so I could sit and watch humans and other doggy friends outside. I wasn’t allowed to eat in the Breakfast room, but me and my Hum could sit outside for breakfast.

We took a daytrip to North York Moors National Park – They have some areas where dogs are allowed – and there is a small café where I was allowed to sit both inside and out.

It was a good day out and I met these BIG black and white animals. Hum told me they are cows and you get milk from them! Wow! That sounds useful…Anyways I wos glad they had their side of the fence and I mine ’cos they had HUGE tongues and tried to lick me – a bit yucky!

I wasn’t so sure of the amount of humans walking around Whitby, so preferred to walk a quieter way to the beach. Once at Whitby beach (my hum had to make sure we stayed in the dog friendly sections) I loved running on the sand, although the sea was big and scary and waves chased after me, not for me!

Humans in Whitby were all really friendly to me, and one man even gave me a full chip shop sausage!

I can’t wait to return to Whitby!

Sage xx
