Zuki’s trip to Nottingham

Hi Dog Pals,

Me and Hum went on a little trip yesterday to Nottingham @NottinghamTIC ; @MyNottingham.

Just ‘cos I had my hair done recently, Hum had to copy and have hers done.

She didn’t want to leave me at home so had done some investigating to find more dog friendly stuff for me to tell you all about and so we set off to the bus stop to travel on @ProntoBusRBX run by @trentbartonlive.

The Pronto Bus arrived on time and off we set. When we got to Nottingham, the Pronto Bus driver was really kind to me and let me sit in his seat and pretend to welcome people on-board. I SO wanted to work the ticket machine but it is a bit tricky when you have paws…

En-route to the hairdressers we stopped off at a shop called LUSH. Hum loves @lushcosmetics– they sell smelly stuff in there for humans to use when washing and she uses Ro’s Argan body conditioner in the shower and comes out smelling lovely to cuddle into 🙂 Anyways all the staff in LUSH love me and EVERYONE wanted a cuddle so I gave them all Christmas kisses which they said made their day! Lovely LUSH people!

On to the hairdressers where HUM took AGES to get her hair done – much longer than when I get mine done – I think it is ‘cos she needs a bit of enhancement to her hair colour where I is just naturally beautiful 😉

When Hum was finally finished being beautified we walked through the fabulously Christmassy Market Square where I wanted to test all the food stalls as they smelt amazing but Hum said ‘no’ as we were going to eat at The Castle Pub @TheCastle_Notts which is one of the few pubs in Nottingham City Centre which is dog friendly. And they are very dog friendly indeed! Everyone made a HUGE fuss of me and the customers all wanted to meet me too! I got a bowl of water provided and Hum ordered a pretty special Bacon & Cheese Burger – really, really delicious and now I know that burger cheese is YUMMY!! Why hasn’t Hum introduced me to this before! Anyways I can totally recommend The Castle Pub for you to take your Humans too. You will get a great welcome and good food 🙂

If you need somewhere to stay @HartsNottingham is a dog friendly hotel – find it in our listings and one of my early Blog posts – we stayed there and it is lovely!

Hum decided we would go home in style so she hailed a cab @NottinghamTaxi and I found out what a taxi is. Really quite lovely to have our own chauffeur! Definitely my style! But do note not all taxis are dog friendly so do make sure your humans check before getting in 🙂

Sadly no photos of me travelling in style – it was too dark and our lovely driver Saqib forgot to put the flash on 🙁

Never mind I am sure we will travel in style again sometime –  I do hope so!

So dog pals if you get the opportunity do take your humans on a trip to Nottingham – it really is rather wonderful especially at this festive time of year!
